Shiva Information
Dear Community,
Bill and Steve Gross will be sitting shiva for their mother beginning tomorrow evening. Below is the information:

We are sorry to inform you about the passing of Hal Krevoy’s mother, Lillian Krevoy. The Levaya was last week and Hal is now in NY. Hal will be davening and sitting shiva in LA at home (1544 Cardiff Ave.) on Tuesday and Wednesday (Feb 25/26).
Shacharis at 7:00 a.m.
Mincha/Maariv at 5:30 pm
Shiva hours: after Shachris until 12:30 pm, then from 3:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. (No visitors please between 12:30 and 3:00.)
Donations in memory of Lillian Krevoy can be made to Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York.
We are sorry to inform you about the passing of Beth Firestone’s father. The Levaya for Beth's father Edward Blum (a"h) will be this Tuesday at 12 noon at Hillside in Culver City.
Shiva will be at their home: 1440 Oakhurst Drive
Wednesday,Thursday Sunday: 11am - 1pm;3-5pm; and 7-9pm
Friday: 10am-12noon only
We are sorry to inform you about the passing of Bill and Steve Gross’s mother. The levaya will be this Tuesday at 11:30 am at Mt. Sinai.
Shiva and davening information will be sent out soon.

We are very sad to inform you about the passing of Dr. Daniel Rubin, husband of Brenda and father of Amira, Moshe, Devora, and Racheli,.
A funeral service will take place at YICC tonight (Wed, Feb 19, 2014) at 6 p.m.
Burial will occur in Israel on Friday morning at Eretz HaChayim Cemetery near Beit Shemesh.
Brenda will be sitting Shiva in Israel from Friday through Thursday morning at 5/17 Keren Hayesod, Jerusalem.

Please note that Israel is ten hours ahead of Los Angeles.

Two Purim Classes

Two classes in preparation for Purim… (one for men and one for women)
MEN: A new and humorous look into the true meaning and significance for us of the Megilla as seen through the eyes of Chazal with their penetrating analysis and commentary. The class will be taught by Rabbi Cohen on Megillas Esther every Monday and Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. until Purim.
WOMEN: Join Rabbi Cohen as he examines the text of the Megillah and reveals insights ranging from the relationship of Adam and Chava in Gan Eden to modern feminism and the implications for the relationship of men and women today. Shabbos, February 15, 22, March 1 and 8 from 4:00 - 4:45 pm
