LA Aish HaTorah Community

Dear Community,

1. The oldest boys Shabbos childcare group has worked hard all year to earn prizes, and they’ve collectively decided that they would like their hard-earned tickets to go towards basketball shooting sleeves.  We’d like to reward them, but unfortunately do not have the funds to purchase them.  We would like to ask the parents to help make it happen by sponsoring one or more shooting sleeves for the boys ($14.99 each).  Please reply to this email if you can help.

2. TONIGHT, June 2: Mishmar at Aish!  From Moshe to Mishna Brura – Make Torah part of your week.  Come learn every Thurs night from 8:30 – 9:30 pm at the new Aish LA Bais Medrash (formerly the Annex).  Chavrusa learning and short shiur, followed by Ma’ariv. 

3. Community women are invited to a third meal to welcome Leah Lowey (soon to be Lesserson) to the community. This Shabbos, July 4, from 5:30 – 7:00 pm at the home of Rabbi Motti and Shenker, 1127 S. Shenandoah Street.  If you can help, please call Sharon Shenker at 310.926.2356.
