Dear Community:

We regret to inform you of the passing of Sara Brownstein’s mother - Eliane Atlan Chamak - in Paris at the age of 80 years old, having fought cancer valiantly for a decade. She was a loving wife, mother of three, grandmother of eight, great-grandmother of one. Born in Sousse, Tunisia in 1930, she and her family survived World War II, including the Nazi occupation of North Africa.  After the war she moved from Tunisia to France, settling in Paris and raising three children.  She was a true Eshet Chayil and will be deeply missed.

The funeral will be held in Paris on November 24^th at 2:00 PM.  Shiva, as well, will be sat in Paris.  Notes of condolence can be sent to Sara@Brownsteins.net.
